The ELECTROLIFE consortium gathered for its third General Assembly meeting in Erlangen on May 15-16, 2025, kindly hosted by our partners FAU and FZJ.
On the first day, we held an exploitation workshop where our partner EGP presented the exploitation strategy and timeline. They outlined the project’s key exploitable results and shared the roadmap for translating the project outcomes into practical, real-world applications, bringing us closer to market readiness. The day ended with a guided tour of the FZJ laboratories, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their research facilities. The second day focused on technical discussions on degradation phenomena affecting low- and high-temperature electrolyzers. We discussed degradation modelling, lifetime prediction followed by a workshop on modelling, led by VDX, testing procedures, diagnostic tools, and technology development and assessment. After the discussions, partners had the opportunity to visit FAU labs and explore their facilities.
We sincerely thank FZJ and FAU for their generous hospitality, and all our partners for their active participation and valuable contributions.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work to support the wider adoption of green hydrogen technologies and contribute to the decarbonisation of European industry.
