On 21 May 2026, the ELECTROLIFE project organized its first Advisory Board Workshop. The 2-hour workshop was a great success as it presented a good overview of the project results so far and provided new insights and recommendations on the project continuation.
After all Advisory Board members had shortly introduced themselves, our coordinator Alessandro Monteverde provided a short but concise introduction of the project objectives, its ambitions and partners. The project overview was followed by four presentations on the main topics of the project: 1) Components & single cells degradation (presented by POLITO); 2) Degradation modelling (presented by AAU); 3) Testing protocols (presented by CNR) and 4) Testing tools & diagnostic tools (presented by EGP). The final part of the workshop compromised the plenary Q&A session during which the Advisory Board members were able to question and comment on the project, providing valuable input for different parts of the activities. The recommendations concerned of how the ELECTROLIFE project can impact the standards and protocols on Accelerated Stress Tests (ASTs) to questions how ELECTROLIFE can contribute to future second life usage of electrolysers (e.g. refurbishment of the stacks). In conclusion, the first Advisory Board workshop was a great success during which members and ELECTROLIFE partners were able to get know each other and valuable information was provided for further improving and advancing project goals and expected outcomes.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Advisory Board members for their participation and to all partners for their active participation and valuable discussions.
Thanks to the strong collaboration across our consortium, ELECTROLIFE continues to advance green hydrogen adoption and contribute to the decarbonisation of Europe’s industry.
