AEMEL Test Bench Commissioned and VEGA stack Assembly Successfully Completed

The first test bench planned within ELECTROLIFE has been successfully commissioned and has passed its Site Acceptance Test (SAT), marking an important milestone for the project.

To support the next phase of development, teams from Pietro Fiorentini, Hyter, and the Politecnico di Torino gathered at Pietro Fiorentini’s facilities to assemble the latest version of the VEGA stack, developed as part of the ELECTROLIFE project.

The assembly activities provided an excellent opportunity for the partners to review the stack design and exchange technical expertise. Through close collaboration, the team was able to validate key design improvements and identify further opportunities for optimization.

This new generation of the VEGA stack is expected to bring the project closer to its objectives, particularly in terms of electrolyser performance, efficiency, and durability. The outcomes of the testing and validation activities will contribute significantly to the broader ELECTROLIFE research programme, helping to improve the understanding of degradation mechanisms and support the assessment of electrolyser lifetime.

These achievements demonstrate the strength of collaboration among project partners and represent another important step towards advancing innovative hydrogen technologies.

Congratulations to all partners for reaching this significant milestone!
