On September 26-27, 2024, the ELECTROLIFE consortium met for the 2nd General Assembly, hosted by our partner Loccioni in Ancona (Italy). The two-day event brought together all project partners for productive knowledge exchanges and updates on the project’s progress.
The meeting featured different presentations where some of the partners shared the results of the past months, discussed recent advancements, and outlined the next steps. An open dialogue around the project goals and key inputs strengthened the alignment and collaboration across the consortium. The primary focus of the meeting was on the progress of the research into all electrolyser technologies, particularly addressing degradation mechanisms. The discussions aimed to deepen our understanding of the causes of degradation and to devise strategies for mitigating these issues, ultimately extending the operational lifetime of electrolysers. An important part of the event was the exploitation workshop led by ENEL Green Power (EGP), our Exploitation Manager, which outlined the roadmap for translating the project’s outcomes into impactful, real-world applications.
In addition to the technical sessions, the present partners enjoyed a special presentation on the unique history of Loccioni and had the opportunity to visit their state-of-the-art facilities. This provided valuable insight into the pioneering work being conducted by our host, adding a layer of inspiration to the event. We sincerely thank Loccioni for their generous hospitality and to all our partners for their active participation and the fruitful discussions that are driving the progress of ELECTROLIFE.
Stay tuned for more updates as we forge ahead with our mission to boost the use of green hydrogen technologies to support decarbonisation of European global industry!
